Indoor Mini Golf ROI Calculator

Start with a quick estimate of visits, revenue and costs. For independent regular bays, VIP rooms, peak pricing and prepaid credit, switch to the detailed calculator.

Simple calculator selected. Each calculator keeps its own inputs when you switch; values are not automatically converted between the two models.

An estimate, not an income guarantee

Illustrative figures are prefilled for testing. They are not industry averages or a revenue forecast. Replace them with your own figures.

Your assumptions

Use one currency for every amount. Changing the label does not convert exchange rates.

1. Visits & revenue

Hole count describes the course; it does not multiply revenue. Count paid visits, not total footfall. Event revenue must exclude tickets and extra spend already entered above.

2. Operating costs
3. Setup investment

Include equipment, fit-out, shipping, installation, deposits, pre-opening costs and working capital in your total.

Calculation values stay in this page and are not submitted through the calculator.

Your calculated scenario

Monthly revenue

Monthly operating costs
—
Monthly operating cash surplus
—
Operating cash margin
—
Simple payback period
—
Break-even paid visits per day
—
Net cash after setup investment
—
Cash ROI over assessment period

A payback result beyond the assessment period falls outside the period you selected. Partial months are estimates.

What if attendance changes?

Only daily paid visits change. Visitor-related costs change with attendance; prices, event income and fixed costs stay the same. Figures show monthly operating cash surplus.

How the calculation works

V = paid visits/day; D = operating days/month; T = ticket revenue/visit; A = extra spend/visit; E = monthly event revenue; F = fixed monthly costs; U = variable cost/visit; H = monthly direct event costs; I = setup investment; M = assessment months.

  1. Monthly paid visits N = V × D
  2. Ticket revenue = N × T; extra-spend revenue = N × A
  3. Monthly revenue R = N × (T + A) + E
  4. Monthly operating costs C = F + (N × U) + H
  5. Monthly operating cash surplus S = R − C; cash margin = S ÷ R × 100% (R > 0)
  6. Break-even paid visits/day = round up[max(0, (F + H − E) ÷ (D × (T + A − U)))], only if D > 0 and T + A − U > 0
  7. Simple payback in months = I ÷ S, only if I > 0 and S > 0
  8. Net cash over M months = (S × M) − I
  9. Cash ROI over M months = [((S × M) − I) ÷ I] × 100%, only if I > 0
